7 Best Air Fryer Grill Combo Reviews

Before reviewing my top picks for the best air fryer grill combo, I should actually admit a certain bias.

I must admit that I love Ninja. It’s my favorite brand for air fryers. They also have a wide array of models to choose from, including a couple of options for what is the focus of our discussion: looking for the best air fryer grill combo.

Well, I love Ninja for more than their air fryers. I also like their blenders, toasters, cookware, and many other kitchen appliances. But those are discussions for other times.

However, even though Ninja is one of my favorite brands and it’s most likely that my top recommendation for the best air fryer grill combo is going to be the Ninja AG301 5-in-1 Indoor Grill with Air Fry, I also want to reassure you that I will review a lot of other options.

There are many other manufacturers to check out, like PowerXL, Nuwave, Cosori, T-fal, Cuisinart.

Frankly, there are quite a lot of models to choose from. It’s certainly not going to be an easy decision to make. It’s not easy to pick an absolute favorite from so many amazing kitchen appliances that include a grill in an air fryer.

Check out my recommendations for the most expensive air fryer models if you’re interested in other models, too. Or my picks for the best air fryers under $50 if you’re interested in the cheapest models.

Best Air Fryer Grill Combo: My Top 4 Picks

1. Best air fryer grill combo: Ninja AG301 Foodi 5-in-1

I love the AG301 and it’s my top recommendation if you’re looking for the best air fryer grill combo. While it’s not exactly cheap, I also don’t think it’s expensive either so it can be a good fit for a lot of people. It’s also one of the most popular and highest rated air fryers at the moment. It can be good for comfortably feeding 2-3 people or even 4 people with smaller appetites.

2. Bigger size: Ninja IG651 Foodi Smart XL Pro 7-in-1

The Ninja IG651 is the bigger alternative to the AG301. However, it’s also a lot more expensive and I don’t like it nearly as much as the AG30. Still, it can be great for people who want to grill on a 9 x 13 inches grill grate. I love the size, the quality, and the grilled meats and veggies or maybe even grilled pizza will be delicious.

3. Good value for money: Nuwave Brio Air Fryer Smart Oven, 15.5-Qt

The Nuwave Brio Air Fryer Smart Oven, 15.5-Qt offers us the possibility of cooking on 3 racks, which is impressive. Plus, we get a rotisserie cooking function and accessory. So we can make rotisserie chicken but we can also grill on the grill/griddle plate that is included.

4. Affordable: PowerXL Grill Air Fryer Combo 6 Qt

This is a good choice for those who are looking to spend around $100 when shopping for the best air fryer grill combo. We get a lot for the money so I like it.

Best Air Fryer Grill Combo Reviews

My top recommendation is the Ninja AG301 Foodi 5-in-1. It’s certainly not cheap, unless you get it on sale. But it’s one of the most popular and highly rated air fryers at the moment. The indoor grill is excellent, offering a satisfying indoor grilling experience with fast cooking times and less complications.

The Ninja IG651 is the bigger and improved version of the AG301. However, considering the negative user reviews and the expensive price, the IG651 is certainly not my favorite.

We also have the Nuwave Brio Air Fryer Smart Oven, 15.5-Qt, which manages to offer a big cooking capacity thanks to its 3 racks. And it has a pretty decent price. It’s certainly a pretty good option to consider when we’re looking for the best air fryer grill combo.

Among the cheapest options, we have the PowerXL Grill Air Fryer Combo. With a price around $100, it certainly doesn’t get cheaper than that.

1. Ninja AG301 Foodi 5-in-1: Overall the Best Air Fryer Grill Combo

Without any doubt, my favorite, top recommendation for the best air fryer grill combo is the Ninja AG301 Foodi 5-in-1. I also reviewed it as one of the best indoor grills for chicken breast.

Before getting to what it offers, let me tell you something important. It would be awesome if you could find the Ninja AG301 on sale.

The retail price is around $230 so it turns out that this appliance would not be exactly a cheap option.

Do I think that the retail price is worth it? Frankly, I do, especially if we want to use the AG301 often to cook wonderful breakfasts, lunches or dinners for us and our family. We get our money’s worth if we use this Ninja for years to come and often.

On the other hand, if we get it on sale, the price can be around $150 or under. That’s certainly a difference in price.

If we were to buy it on sale, the Ninja AG301 Foodi 5-in-1, which is one of the most versatile air fryers at the moment, would also be one of the most affordable, considering what it offers. I guess it’s a matter of luck. And that’s what I wish for you if you decide that the Ninja AG301 Foodi 5-in-1 is the one for you.

If you decide that you don’t like Ninja at all. Or if you want the air fryer & grill combo that is designed like an oven with 2 or 3 cooking racks, then stick around because there are a lot more options coming just below.

Design

The AG301 looks amazing. I love the design.

The first thing that I like is that it’s a complex appliance but it manages to be quite compact. It measures 11 inches tall x 14 inches wide x 17 inches deep.

It looks great and it will fit even in smaller kitchens. You don’t have to have a big countertop for this Ninja. But air fryers are generally compact while offering so many different cooking options and that’s why we love them.

However, I didn’t want to mention the design just because I think it looks pretty. There’s a different reason for talking about it.

I wanted to talk about this aspect so that I can mention that we can’t use the crisper basket and the grill plate at the same time to cook two different foods. We can’t add our fries in the crisper basket and then grill our steaks or burgers on the grill plate simultaneously.

We also can’t use the cooking pot and the grill plate at the same time, either.

From my point of view, the Ninja AG301 Foodi 5-in-1 comes as close to being perfect as it can.

The only minor con is that we have to use the cooking functions individually. And we can’t cook multiple foods on multiple cooking accessories.

However, the food is cooked a lot faster than in the oven so we’ll get our complete meal done quite quickly.

One of the most popular air fryers

A huge part of truly loving the Ninja AG301 Foodi 5-in-1 is its popularity. It’s a best seller.

But it’s not only that. It’s also one of the highest rated air fryers at the moment.

The ratio of negative reviews to 5 star reviews is one of the most impressive I’ve ever seen. Not only for air fryers but for kitchen appliances in general. The Zojirushi Neuro Fuzzy Rice Cooker has a similar impressive rating but from a significantly lower number of buyers.

Of course, we should still check out some of the negative reviews for the AG301 but you should know that it’s hard to come across such a low percentage of negative reviews and such a high percentage of 5-star ones. The ratio is amazing.

Components

Since the Ninja AG301 Foodi 5-in-1 is my top recommendation for the best air fryer grill combo, you should expect some amazing cooking accessories.

We get:

  • 10 x 10 grill grate
  • 4 quart crisper basket
  • 6 quart cooking pot
  • splatter shield
  • 15 recipe cookbook
  • cleaning brush

Those 3 cooking accessories are top notch and their size is pretty great, too. We’ll see in a few moments just what these sizes translate into in terms of what quantities we can cook at once.

I should also let you know that all these cooking accessories, the grill plate, crisper basket, cooking pot, are ceramic-coated. Thus, they’re PFOA/PTFE-free, which is awesome and some people are going to love that.

Cooking functions

On the left side we have the settings for the grill.

Ninja uses cyclonic grilling technology that uses 500 degrees F cyclonic air to perfectly cook or char grill our food. We will get a delicious grill flavor, even if we’re grilling indoors. That’s excellent.

There’s a smoke control system for a smoke-free kitchen.

There are 4 settings for the grill:

  • low : bacon, sausages, calzones, and when cooking thicker barbecue sauces
  • medium: frozen meats and batches of marinated ingredients
  • high: steaks, chicken, and burgers
  • max: veggies, fruit, fresh & frozen seafood, and pizza

It’s quite easy to handle, even for complete beginners in the kitchen. That’s the beauty of using air fryers, especially good ones like the AG301.

The air fryer side on the right has the following cooking functions:

  • air crisp
  • roast
  • dehydrate
  • bake

All in all, with all these cooking functions, the Ninja AG301 is a complete model and it’s once again obvious why it’s my top pick for the best air fryer grill combo.

Size

In order to understand exactly what cooking capacity we get from a model, it’s best to check out the quantities of various foods we can cook.

In the case of the Ninja AG301 Foodi Grill, we have to check out how much food we can grill at one time and how much we can air fry.

For more info, check out this recipe guide.

We can grill 4 burgers, 4 steaks, 5 hot dogs, 4 ears of corn, etc.

All in all, I would say that the Ninja AG301 Foodi Grill is great for 2-3 persons or for 4 people with smaller appetites.

We can also grill 1 store-bought pizza dough (6 ounces).

We can air fry up to 3 pounds of potatoes, up to 1 ½ pounds sweet potatoes, 2 pounds zucchini, 2 heads of cauliflower, 2 bunches of asparagus, etc. Or 2 chicken breasts, 4 chicken thich, 2 pounds chicken wings, etc.

In that recipe book we also get a chart for the dehydrate function. It’s all very helpful.

2. Ninja IG651 Foodi Smart XL Pro 7-in-1

I really can’t talk about the best air fryer grill combo without mentioning the Ninja IG651.

It’s pretty much the ultimate model to want, especially if we’re talking about prices. With a price around $350, this is one of the most expensive cooking appliances we could choose to buy.

We should see if it’s worth it.

It’s certainly not as popular as the smaller and older Ninja AG301. It’s also not as highly rated and it has a higher percentage of negative reviews so, for me, the AG301 is still a better choice, even if it has a smaller capacity.

Design

Ninja IG651 is a sleeker, updated, bigger version of the AG301. They certainly share a similar design but the IG651 certainly looks like the new and improved version, although I still prefer the original.

Sometimes, the sequel doesn’t measure up.

It measures: 15.7” (L) x 17.4” (W) x 11.63” (H).

Components

We get slightly different components and they’re quite interesting:

  • 9 x 13 inches grill grate with nonstick, PTFE/PFOA-free, ceramic coating – it’s certainly quite bigger than the 10 x 10 grill grate that the AG301 comes with it
  • 12 inch flat top bbq griddle with nonstick, PTFE/PFOA-free, ceramic coating – such an amazing component that none of the other air fryers include, a griddle is perfect for pancakes, bacon, eggs, etc.
  • 4-quart crisper basket with nonstick, PTFE/PFOA-free, ceramic coating – it’s large enough to make enough French fries for 4 people
  • splatter shield
  • 15 recipes guide

The grill grate fits 6 steaks, mains and sides at the same time, and more.

The flat top BBQ griddle allows us to cook a whole platter of nachos, 4 sandwiches or 6 pancakes.

All in all, the Ninja IG651 Foodi Smart XL Pro 7-in-1 is perfect for those who want to cook a wide array of dishes on different cooking accessories. It’s perfect for those who want to grill indoors all year round and it certainly fits a lot of ingredients on the grill or griddle. And the air fryer basket is big enough, as well.

However, the price might not make it as popular as other models. It can be a really good acquisition if you have the budget for it.

Cooking functions

It has the following cooking functions

  • grill – well, med well, med, med rare, and rare and 4 heat levels
  • roast
  • broil
  • bake
  • BBQ griddle
  • air crisp
  • dehydrate

It’s a complex kitchen appliance that will be well-used by those who enjoy cooking often for their family.

3. Nuwave Brio Air Fryer Smart Oven, 15.5-Qt

I am certainly not overly enthusiastic about the Nuwave Brio Air Fryer Smart Oven because it has quite a significant percentage of negative reviews. Thus, it’s not my favorite.

Still, we must also take into account that a lot of people love it and are totally satisfied with its performance.

Well, let’s see what it offers because the price is not all that expensive, especially if you get it on sale.

Size

There is one important reason for which I decided to review this Nuwave air fryer grill combo.

That fact is its size, its cooking capacity.

However, saying that it has 15.5 Qt capacity might not mean much for some of us.

I would say that it can be good for a family of 4.

Given that it has 3 racks to cook food on, the number of people it can feed can definitely increase.

And we must also consider that we can cook a whole chicken with the rotisserie cooking function and accessories.

Even if it has a spacious cooking chamber, it still manages to be quite compact, which is nice.

It measures: 13” (L) x 15.4” (W) x 16.9” (H).

That’s because things are cooked on the vertical but it’s great for people with small kitchens or limited countertop space that need to cook for a family.

You can find more info in the quick start guide.

Design

The Nuwave Brio Air Fryer Smart Oven is designed like a cross between a classic, big air fryer and a countertop convection oven. Due to this combination, it manages to offer more cooking space and versatility than most models at the moment.

We can actually cook on 3 shelves at the same time.

We can grill our meat on the bottom or on top on the grill & griddle accessory.

And we can use the chrome mesh rack and the chrome mesh tray to cook our sides. Or to air fry some more meat and cook the sides on the mesh tray or mesh rack.

Of course, there’s a catch.

We can only select one cooking function at one time for all 3 shelves. We can’t select the grill function for the bottom rack, for the griddle, and then select the air fry for the two racks on top. We have to choose one cooking function even if we want to cook 3 different types of food at the same time.

Add to that that the Nuwave Brio Air Fryer Smart Oven comes with 100 preset cooking functions and things can get a bit more complicated.

Basically, we can cook the same type of food at the same time, like meat on 2-3 racks, or bake 2 pizzas at the same time but things can get a bit more complicated if we’re trying to combine different foods.

And that’s why appliances like the Ninja AG301 just prefer us cooking one type of dish with its corresponding cooking function at one time.

Components

It comes with the following:

  • chrome mesh rack
  • chrome mesh tray
  • drip tray
  • grill/griddle plate
  • rotisserie basket
  • rotisserie skewer
  • digital temperature probe

As we can see, we can make rotisserie chicken or even cook a whole duck with the help of these special accessories.

Cooking functions

The control panel for the Nuwave Brio Air Fryer Smart Oven is a bit different than what most of us are used to.

We get buttons for: watts, rotisserie, stage, warm, grill, sear, temp, menu, probe, preheat.

However, we also get 100 pre-programmed menu presets for grilling, air frying, baking, broiling, roasting, dehydrating, reheating, defrosting, toasting, and more.

There are a lot of cooking functions to access so we’re not lacking anything, that’s for sure.

The Nuwave Brio Air Fryer Smart Oven is just as complex as they come.

There are 50 memory slots where we can save our favorite recipes with their respective settings.

The temp can go between 50 and 425 degrees F. It doesn’t go very high but it’s to be expected from most air fryers. The models from Ninja are an exception because the temperature for the grill can go up to 500 degrees F.

4. PowerXL Grill Air Fryer Combo 6 Qt: Cheap Air Fryer Grill Combo

With a price around $100, we could say that this PowerXL is basically the cheapest pick for the best air fryer grill combo.

Is it worth spending so little, are we going to get an awesome deal? Let’s investigate.

The design is similar to that of Ninja, although this one from PowerXL is certainly not as pretty.

It measures 11.88” (H) x 13.68” (W) x 17.44” (D). With the lid completely open it’s 21 inches tall.

However, there’s something really different about the PowerXL Grill Air Fryer Combo 6 Qt.

It’s actually described as an indoor grill and air fryer combo that is also a slow cooker with a nonstick inner pot. That’s certainly nice.

Ninja AG301 also has a 6qt cooking pot. But it’s nice to see that the PowerXL Grill Air Fryer Combo also offers buyers one, as well.

Components

We get the following:

  • nonstick inner pot
  • nonstick grill plate
  • tempered glass lid
  • serving ladle
  • instruction guide
  • recipe book
  • quick start guide

Cooking functions

We get plenty of cooking functions to cook a wide variety of dishes:

  • air fry
  • indoor grill
  • simmer
  • slow cook
  • bake
  • sous vide
  • steam
  • roast
  • fry
  • sauté
  • rice
  • keep warm

As you can see, we can even use the PowerXL Grill Air Fryer Combo as a rice cooker.

And we can use it to grill indoors all year round, to air fry a lot of foods, to slow cook foods, and so much more.

Even though it’s so cheap, this model offers so many options. I guess it’s clear to see why we should keep it in mind when we’re looking for the best air fryer grill combo.

However, there are plenty of negative reviews to pay attention to and to check out. I definitely recommend doing that before making a final purchase.

 5. T-fal Easy Fry XXL Air Fryer & Grill Combo

As my second to last recommendation for the best air fryer grill combo, I decided to review a model that totally looks like a classic air fryer.

It’s a pretty affordable model, with a price around $150 or even cheaper if you get it on sale.

Besides the classic design, we also get an easy to use kitchen appliance, it’s very intuitive. Let’s see what else it offers.

Size

This time, we actually get to choose between two sizes.

The 4.4 quarts model has a slightly different design and it’s slightly cheaper.

On the other hand, if you want a bigger size, I recommend the 5.9-quart option. It has the capacity for 3 pounds of fries or up to 5 pounds roast chicken. That’s a lot.

Both sizes are an air fryer & grill combo.

However, I should mention that there is a considerable number of negative reviews to check out before making a final choice.

Overall, I like the T-fal Easy Fry XXL Air Fryer & Grill Combo quite a lot but I don’t love it completely. Still, it offers a good deal for a decent price.

Components

We get the following:

  • fryer basket
  • grill plate

It’s a simple model that’s for sure but that’s exactly what some potential buyers want.

The temperature goes up to 400 degrees F. That’s certainly a classic air fryer.

There are 8 programs to cook our foods: fries, chops, shrimp, bake, pizza, fish, grill, and roast.

6. Cuisinart Air Fryer + Convection Toaster Oven TOA-70

I should totally admit that I’m not the biggest fan of Cuisinart air fryers in general.

The problem with their models is not that they’re not popular. It’s not even the price, although it’s certain that Cuisinart doesn’t sell cheap air fryers.

What I have a problem with is that, despite their popularity, Cuisinart models also receive a high proportion of negative reviews.

There are a lot of buyers who totally love their performance.

For example, there are buyers that mention that the grill plate works nicely but not the same as a real BBQ but almost as well as an indoor grill. That’s certainly good to know.

A user mentioned that a 2.5 pounds bone-in pork chop grilled delicious and a 14 oz turkey breast came out outstanding.

It certainly seems that the grill works wonderfully for quite a lot of people.

However, we also get buyers that mention that the Cuisinart Air Fryer + Convection Toaster Oven doesn’t have a long life. Or that it has problems with targeted temp.

Still, for those who love Cuisinart as a brand, I’m sure that they would be curious to know if they could buy the best air fryer grill combo from this particular well-known brand.

And that’s what we’re here to figure out. I couldn’t miss the opportunity to review it.

Design

The Cuisinart Air Fryer + Convection Toaster Oven is actually the appliance that closely resembles convection toaster ovens.

It’s still a little bit taller than classic convection toaster ovens but the entire design is quite familiar. So there might be some of you who would appreciate the familiarity.

Its dimensions are: 12.25” (L) x 15.75” (W) x 13.75” (H).

Size

The Cuisinart TOA-70 has a 0.6 cubic capacity. It might seem small but there’s plenty we can cook.

We can toast 6 slices of bread.

Air fry 3 pounds of chicken wings.

Bake a 12 inch pizza.

Or roast a 4 pound chicken.

Just from these examples alone we can certainly see just how versatile the Cuisinart TOA-70 is. The fact that it’s a convection toaster oven, besides a grill and air fry combo, certainly makes it amazing and it can replace quite a few kitchen appliances by just buying something like this Cuisinart.

Components

We get the following cooking accessories:

  • air fryer basket
  • broiling pan
  • wire rack
  • crumb tray
  • grill plate

I like all these accessories that we get, including the grill plate. They’re all amazing.

Cooking functions

The Cuisinart Air Fryer + Convection Toaster Oven is just like those classic convection toaster ovens that have actual knobs to select the cooking functions, the temp, and the time.

We get a small red light for power that lights up when the oven is on. That’s a nice touch, I like it.

The first knob is for time, we can run it up to 60 mins. We’ll need to be around to turn the knob again if the food we cook takes longer than 60 minutes.

The second is for temperature. We get warm, 250 degrees F, 300, 350, 400, and 450 degrees F/toast/broil.

On the third knob we actually get the 8 cooking functions:

  • warm
  • broil
  • convection broil
  • toast
  • bake
  • convection bake
  • air fry
  • grill

As we can see, it’s absolutely classic and straightforward.

And we get the grill and air fry functions that we’re mostly interested in.

Plus, since it’s actually a convection toaster oven, it also has a knob for toast shades: light, med, and dark.

So, if somehow your toaster doesn’t work anymore, you won’t have to buy a separate toaster for your kitchen if you already buy the Cuisinart Air Fryer + Convection Toaster Oven and decide to keep it.

7. COSORI Indoor Grill & Smart XL Air Fryer Combo Aeroblaze, 8-in-1, 6QT

While it might look a bit similar to the PowerXL Grill Air Fryer Combo 6 Qt that I reviewed above, the COSORI Indoor Grill & Smart XL Air Fryer Combo Aeroblaze, 8-in-1, 6QT comes with one very notable difference.

The price for this Cosori is about 2 times more expensive than the one from PowerXL. Well, they have the same size and the design is quite similar but the prices are definitely a lot different.

With a price a bit under $250, this Cosori is definitely expensive.

So, it’s not a big surprise that it’s not extremely popular.

However, a huge part of the people who bought it, love it quite a lot.

Someone mentioned in their review that they got rid of their grill. They have been using the COSORI Indoor Grill & Smart XL Air Fryer Combo Aeroblaze, 8-in-1, 6QT for the oast 6 month and they love it. In fact, they love it so much that they got rid of their outdoor grill and rarely use their oven anymore. It seems that it makes the best chicken wings.

Thus, the highly positive reviews for this Cosori are a huge reason for reviewing this one as a very good pick for the best air fryer grill combo.

Personally, I might like this Cosori a lot more than the Cuisinart Air Fryer + Convection Toaster Oven TOA-70 that I reviewed above. And they’re in the same price range.

Size

Cosori informs us that we can cook enough food for 3-5 people on the large 100 square-inch grill.

The grill can cook 2 big sandwiches, 15 hot dogs, 4 hamburgers, 4 steaks.

It’s a decent size. Enough for a family or 3 or 4. Of course, it’s more than enough for a single person or for two people.

That’s a good size. And the 6 quart for the air fryer part of this appliance is also big enough. It even fits a whole chicken inside. We can cook a whole chicken with the Roast cooking function.

We can access 100 digital recipes through the VeSync Online Recipe Library. I definitely recommend trying that out until you find your favorites.

Components

I love that we get a nonstick ceramic basket, cooking pot, and grill grate.

The ceramic coating for all these 3 components is truly amazing.

Cosori mentions that their components are dishwasher safe but I recommend washing them by hand gently to maintain the nonstick coating intact for many years to come.

Cooking functions

We get all the cooking functions that we might need for the air fryer part of this air fryer grill combo:

  • crisp
  • broil
  • air grill
  • roast
  • bake
  • dehydrate
  • preheat
  • keep warm

The air grill modes are:

  • low
  • med
  • high
  • max

Cosori mentions that this Aeroblaze Smart Indoor Grill brings the flavors of backyard cookout into the comfort of our homes. That’s exactly what we’re expecting from the best air fryer grill combo.

We can also get smartphone notifications if we have other things to care of while our food is air frying.

Best Air Fryer Grill Combo Buying Guide

Let’s see what features we should be aware of when you’re looking for the best air fryer grill combo. We’re going to talk about features like design, cooking functions, size/capacity, prices, etc.

Looks like a small indoor grill

There are two types of models to choose from when we’re looking for air fryers + grills combos.

We get appliances that actually have a grill on top with a lid, something that looks like a smaller version of indoor grills and even some outdoor grills.

The basket for the air fryer function and the grill plate share the same cooking chamber.

Thus, we get a deeper basket for air frying. And we get a grill plate on which to obviously grill an array of foods.

These are the sort of models that Cosori, PowerXL, and Ninja call indoor grill & air fryer combo.

Overall, I love the models that look like a miniature grill and don’t even give the impression that they’re an air fryer at first glance but I do have a complaint about them.

I just wish we could use the air fry function and the grill function at the same time.

We can only cook foods individually with whatever function or cooking accessories we choose to use.

Thus, we can air fry your sides first and then grill your meat afterwards but we can’t, for example, cook our steaks and fries at the same time.

But that’s true for a lot of air fryers on the market.

Looks like a countertop oven/air fryer

The second type of model we can consider is actually one where the griddle plate is placed inside the air fryer on a rack.

Some of these models are going to resemble a countertop oven a bit, like the air fryers that Cuisinart makes.

Others will look like the original air fryers, like the air fryer & grill combo from T-fal.

And others will be a combination between the original air fryer design and a countertop oven, resulting in the model from Nuwave that I reviewed in this article.

The appliances that are shaped like countertop ovens, those with multiple racks, offer a good versatility. And the ability to cook multiple dishes at the same time.

If you want the possibility of more space and multiple racks to cook a couple of dishes at the same time, I recommend picking a model like the Nuwave Brio Air Fryer Smart Oven, 15.5-Qt. However, check out its negative reviews before making a final decision because there are plenty.

Cooking functions & components

The grill and air fry functions are included by all the models I recommended, which is totally to be expected given what type of kitchen appliance we’re looking for.

Other cooking functions we might find are: bake, dehydrate, roast. These can be other classics.

Some appliances might include rotisserie accessories to cook a whole chicken on a metal stick.

Moreover, as we saw from PowerXL Grill Air Fryer Combo, there are some models that work as slow cookers or even as rice cookers. There are plenty of surprises to find.

Price

If we were to look for the cheapest model, we would go straight for the PowerXL Grill Air Fryer Combo.

Medium-priced options are the Nuwave Brio Air Fryer Smart Oven and the T-fal Easy Fry XXL Air Fryer & Grill Combo. And the Ninja AG301 can be really affordable if you get it on sale, otherwise it can be a bit pricey.

The most expensive pick for the best air fryer grill combo remains the Ninja IG651 Foodi Smart XL Pro 7-in-1, which in my opinion, is a bit too expensive for what it offers.

Best Air Fryer Grill Combo FAQs

Let’s answer some frequently asked questions concerning our search for the best air fryer grill combo.

1. Is an air fryer grill worth it?

Let’s see if an air fryer grill is worth it by comparing the option of buying such a versatile kitchen appliance with buying a separate air fryer and a separate indoor grill.

There are two options.

We either buy an air fryer with a grill plate on top and a basket underneath or a grill plate that goes on the bottom rack inside the air fryer.

Or we buy two separate appliances: a regular air fryer, no grill plate present, and a separate indoor grill.

If you’re looking for the best air fryer grill combo, you should expect to spend around $130-$200. This price range includes amazing appliances like the Ninja AG301, Nuwave Brio Air Fryer Smart Oven, 15.5-Qt, PowerXL Grill Air Fryer Combo 6 Qt, T-fal Easy Fry XXL Air Fryer & Grill Combo.
