6 Best Juicers for Pineapple Reviews

What I really want to make clear in my introduction is that looking for the best juicer for pineapple is not going to be all that difficult or time consuming.

Let me tell you why I say that.

The thing is that using a centrifugal or masticating juicer for making pineapple juice is going to be really easy.

Juicers can handle quite easily a variety of ingredients and those fruits and veggies that can be juiced easily with a high yield definitely absolutely include pineapple.

It’s a juicy fruit already so a lot of juice can be squeezed out from it. Just like we can obtain a lot of juice from cucumbers, tomatoes, cantaloupe, etc.

Juicers can also handle quite successfully hard veggies like carrots, beets, celery, cauliflower and other greens with big stems, like collard greens, beet greens, etc.

The area where things can get trickier is when we’re trying to make a lot of juice from small fruits like berries or leafy greens like baby spinach, herbs, etc.

Overall, even if we want to make a juice with carrots, cucumbers, chard, strawberries, oranges, pineapple, some leafy greens, cantaloupe, tomatoes, etc., a good quality juicer will be able to squeeze a good amount of liquid from each of them.

Thus, our search for the best juicer for pineapple should be a pleasure and not a chore. It was the same when I wrote my recommendations for the best juicer for beets and for the best grape juicer. However, I will admit that pineapple juice is a lot tastier than beet juice, at least for me. But we can do whatever fruit and veggies combinations we want. You’ll quickly pick some favorites.

Best Juicer for Pineapple Reviews

Since I mentioned that a good quality juicer will handle juicing pineapple quite easily and it will squeeze out a lot of juice, I just have one piece of advice to offer.

Try to have a budget in mind. It can make things easier if you have a small idea about how much you’re willing to spend for the best juicer for pineapple.

I pretty much offer the same advice whether we’re talking about rice cookers, juicers, blenders, mixers, air fryers, Dutch ovens, frying pans, etc. because they can eliminate the options that are way outside our budgets so we don’t have to get a headache looking at endless lists of appliances.

There are plenty of awesome models to choose from but the prices for juicers can be quite all over the place.

We can spend as little as $70 or as much as $300-$600.

One of my top favorites is the Ninja JC151 NeverClog Cold Press Juicer, 2nd Generation.

If your budget is well under $100 and you’re totally not into expensive models, then the obvious choice is the Hamilton Beach Juicer Machine.

On the other hand, if Hamilton Beach is not the kind of brand you like, the Breville Juice Fountain Plus Juicer offers an alternative for a price under $200. I also reviewed it as one of the best juicers for tomatoes.

Another interesting option is the Breville Juice Fountain Cold XL Juicer but it will cost almost $400.

Almost in the same price range, we have the fabulous Omega NC900 Cold Press Juicer Machine.

One of the most expensive models you could buy is the Tribest Greenstar GSE-5050 Elite Slow Masticating Juicer, although it’s among my least favorite models that I will review.

And, in the end, if you don’t want to buy a juicer because there’s nothing right for you, then you can choose a blender.

1. Hamilton Beach Juicer Machine: Overall the Best Juicer for Pineapple

Even if I review this Hamilton Beach as my first pick for the best juicer for pineapple, that doesn’t mean that I think that it’s perfect.

There are plenty of negative reviews that you can check out before buying it. Plus, test it as soon as you get it so that you can decide if you’re going to keep it or not.

Plus, I must make it clear that this is a centrifugal model. That means a few things.

One thing that some users might not find so pleasant is the noise. This Hamilton Beach is absolutely noisy.

However, since it’s a centrifugal model with a very powerful motor and blades that spin incredibly fast, that also means that this juicer squeezes out juice really quickly.

Masticating juicers are quiet but they’re also slow. Centrifugal juicers are very fast and noisy. It’s up to you to decide which would be best for you.

On the other hand, some people will mention that juices made with masticating models are a bit more tasty. Nutrients and vitamins aren’t damaged by heat so that might be a factor.

If you want to get up in the morning and have a juice ready in a couple of minutes without much prep because the Hamilton Beach Juicer Machine has a big large feed chute, then you’re going to prefer a centrifugal model.

More importantly, with a price well under $100, the Hamilton Beach Juicer Machine is among the most affordable picks. If you don’t want to break the bank, you might want to give it a chance.

If you can expand your budget, I recommend checking out Ninja JC151 that I will review below because it’s fantastic.

Features

It has a powerful 800 watts motor. It can turn any fruit or veggie into smooth juice in seconds.

The 3 inch extra-large feed chute fits whole fruits and vegetables, like a whole apple, a peeled orange or a handful of kale. Prep is minimal with such a big feed chute.

Use the tamper to push the ingredients towards the blades.

I love the big pulp container that we get.

However, it doesn’t come with a juice container. You’ll have to use your own.

I believe that it’s easy to use even for beginners. And it can be disassembled and assembled quite easily.

In the user manual we’ll also come across the fact that this Hamilton Beach can be used for making soy milk, almond milk, and rice milk.

There are also a few recipes included but you can experiment with whatever ingredients combinations you want. Or you can just stick to making plain pineapple juice because it’s absolutely delicious. And then make a classic piña colada.

Another thing I should also mention when comparing masticating vs centrifugal models as the best juicer for pineapple is that masticating juicers make juice that can be stored for up to 3 days in the fridge in jugs, containers, jars with lids.

Juices extracted with centrifugal models should be consumed within 24 hours.

2. Ninja JC151 NeverClog Cold Press Juicer, 2nd Generation: Best Value for Money

While I certainly wasn’t a big fan of the Ninja JC101, which was the first generation juicer from this famous manufacturer, I definitely love the Ninja JC151 NeverClog Cold Press Juicer, 2nd Generation a lot more.

Of course, this 2nd generation Ninja is almost two times more expensive than the 1st generation but I totally believe that it’s worth the price.

Also, the Ninja JC151 is incredibly pretty, sleek, and quite small. The compact form makes it perfect for small kitchens, as well.

It’s certainly not bulky like all these other models from Hamilton Beach, Breville, Omega, and Tribest. It’s just pretty.

A thing that made me laugh a bit is the fact that it was named NeverClog Cold Press Juicer.

That’s because there are plenty of users who complained that the 1st generation was easily clogged. Ninja wanted to shout it loud and clear that it heard our complaints and set out to rectify them.

I have full trust that the Ninja JC151 NeverClog Cold Press Juicer, 2nd Generation is a terrific pick as the best juicer for pineapple. Even if the price is a bit above $100, I believe that it’s worth the price.

Plus, you must consider that this is a cold press juicer, which means that it will preserve nutrients and vitamins like a masticating model does.

Breville also has a cold press juicer but that one is about 3 times more expensive than this Ninja.

If we take all that into account, the price seems really affordable now.

There are also plenty of YouTube videos that show how well it works.

You’ll notice that the feeding chute is pretty small so you’ll have to cut fruits and veggies in smaller chunks but that’s the only thing I could complain about.

Features

The Ninja JC151 NeverClog Cold Press Juicer, 2nd Generation is engineered to power through tough ingredients, however it will squeeze pineapple just as successfully.

There are only 2 buttons: stop/start and reverse. That’s all we need.

It’s a masticating juicer, not a centrifugal one.

It comes with a powerful high-torque motor base. But it rotates the auger at low speeds to preserve nutrients and vitamins.

The 9-segment auger produces more juice, less foam, and brighter colors than leading centrifugal juicers.

Heat, like it’s the case with centrifugal models, can damage a bit of nutrients and vitamins.

That’s why some people might not go for the Hamilton Beach Juicer Machine and the Breville Juice Fountain Plus Juicer.

Fortunately, Ninja JC151 is the perfect affordable alternative for those who don’t want a centrifugal model.

Masticating models, like these from Ninja, Omega, and Tribest are known for low heat juice extraction.

It includes a juice container and a pulp container. They’re not very big but they fit the small compact design of this Ninja perfectly.

Another innovative thing is that we actually get two interchangeable pulp filters. We get total pulp control, whether we want less pulp or lots of pulp. I like that, it’s like making a smoothie in a juicer, which is fantastic. I like pulp.

We also get a tamper.

The recipe guide that comes with the Ninja JC151 includes a few amazing recipes.

The Tropical Twist is made with orange, pineapple, and mango. And then we can use this juice to make Tropical Twist Ice Pops.

We also get recipes for kale pulp pesto, pulp pancakes, and minestrone soup.

All in all, the Ninja JC151 NeverClog Cold Press Juicer, 2nd Generation is absolutely impressive and one of the cheapest masticating juicers we could buy.

3. Breville Juice Fountain Plus Juicer

This is basically the much more expensive alternative to the Hamilton Beach that I reviewed as my top pick for the best juicer for pineapple.

Frankly, the Breville Juice Fountain Plus Juicer is not my favorite because it’s quite expensive but it can be a nice choice.

Features

Of course, we get a 3 inch extra wide chute feed.

Centrifugal juicers are indeed all about being able to juice whole fruits and vegetables without us needing to do much work. It really is all about speed and efficiency, even if the noise can get quite loud. At least, it doesn’t last long.

The Breville Juice Fountain Plus Juicer comes with a titanium reinforced disc and Italian-made micro mesh filter basket.

This unique extraction system is made of stainless steel. Together, the disc and the mesh filter basket, are designed for optimum juice and nutrient extraction.

We get dual speeds.

We use the low speed for softer fruits and leafy vegetables. Apricots, blueberries, strawberries, tomatoes, watermelon, plumes, nectarines, kiwi, grapes, broccoli, etc. are juiced on low.

For pineapple, use the high speed. The same goes for apples, beets, cucumbers, celery, carrots, pears, oranges, etc. It is made for denser fruits and harder veggies.

It also has a built-in froth separator because centrifugal models like this Breville Juice Fountain Plus Juicer can create a bit of extra foam.

Certain fruits and veggies create froth when juice.

That’s why the juice jug for this Breville features an integrated froth separator to pour more juice and less froth into the glass.

The 1.1 quart juice jug is not incredibly big but it’s a decent size.

The pulp container also has a nice capacity.

What I forgot to mention when I was talking about the Hamilton Beach Juicer Machine is that sometimes centrifugal models can leave the pulp a bit too wet. If that’s the case, I recommend juicing it a second time.

4. Omega NC900 Cold Press Juicer Machine: The Best Masticating Juicer for Pineapple

Is there a doubt in my mind that the Omega NC900 Cold Press Juicer Machine can be called the best juicer for pineapple?

Of course not.

I think it will be great for people with budgets around $400 who are looking for a classic masticating juicer that knows what it’s all about.

Features

It comes with a single auger that spins at 80 RPM. It’s not fast as a centrifugal juicer but the low speed minimizes heat built-up and oxidation. And it allows for quiet operation.

We can keep the juice in the fridge for up to 3 days but make sure to store it in something with a lid or cap.

The powerful 2HP motor generates more torque to process tough ingredients.

Moreover, Omega tells us that the high juice yield saves $ on our grocery bill.

The adjustable end cap has 3 settings to get the most juice out of our fruits, veggies, and leafy greens.

The triple-stage masticating technology extracts the maximum amount of nutrients, vitamins, taste, and juice from a minimum amount of fruits, leafy greens, wheatgrass, veggies.

It includes a small juice container. And a fairly small pulp container.

More than a juicer for pineapple

We can use the Omega NC900 to make: baby food, celery juice, citrus juice, pineapple juice, fruit juice, leafy greens juice, nut butters, nut milks, pasta, sorbet, vegetable juice, wheatgrass juice.

It’s highly versatile, as you can see.

It comes with 1 juice cone.

And 4 nozzles: 3 pasta and 1 breadstick.

5. Breville Juice Fountain Cold XL Juicer

The XL in the name stands for the 70 oz juicing jug that this Breville comes with. It’s pretty much the biggest juice container on any juicer. So you can make pineapple juice for the whole family without stopping for a bit.

There are many interesting things about the Breville Juice Fountain Cold XL Juicer. I won’t deny that it’s impressive.

However, the fact that it’s so expensive doesn’t make it my top favorite.

There are also some negative reviews to keep in mind.

All in all, the Breville Juice Fountain Cold XL Juicer can certainly be a fantastic appliance but it’s certainly not perfect. Well, none of the picks for the best juicer for pineapple really are. It’s just us hoping that we choose right.

Features

What is undeniably intriguing about the Breville Juice Fountain Cold XL Juicer is that it combines centrifugal technology with the Cool Spin Technology to emulate the properties of a masticating model.

The Cool Spin Technology allows juice to flow up and through the stainless steel cutting disc surrounded by an Italian-made mesh filter to ensure an insignificant temperature increase.

So it can extract 70 oz of nutrient rich juice up to 5 times faster than a cold press machine.

We can juice and seal in a XL 70 oz jug. And keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Besides the fact that it doesn’t damage nutrients and vitamins, similar to a masticating model, it preserves the speed of a centrifugal model.

But it comes with noise reduction technology, reducing mechanical noise by 40% for soft fruits.

But Fast and Boost (hard fruits and veggies) don’t benefit from that noise reduction.

We also get a very large 3.5 inch wide feed chute that makes prepping almost nonexistent.

The recipe book is nice.

One recipe called Sweeth Tooth is made with bell pepper, patty pan squash, and pineapple.

Another one is called Healthy Kick and is made with bell pepper, patty pan squash, pineapple, celery stalk, and carrots.

6. Tribest Greenstar GSE-5050 Elite Slow Masticating Juicer

Well, I can certainly say that the Tribest Greenstar GSE-5050 Elite Slow Masticating Juicer is my least favorite recommendation.

It’s not only outrageously expensive but it also comes with a good dose of negative reviews. I can be into expensive appliances, like the most expensive air fryers or very expensive blenders or stand mixers, but I’m into them when they deserve it.

In my opinion, the Tribest Greenstar GSE-5050 Elite Slow Masticating Juicer had the potential to be magnificent but it falls a bit short. You might not agree with me and I’m happy to be proven wrong, I hope your experience will be completely rewarding.

Features

I definitely like that it has a system with 2 augers.

It utilizes bioceramic and magnetic technology to offer us the freshest tasting juice. And to maximize juice yields from various fruits and veggies, including from pineapples that are already very juicy.

The low 110 RPM rotation speed and the advanced impeller cold press efficiently cut and crush ingredients for complete mastication, providing a higher yield.

We can store the juice for up to 72 hours in the fridge.

We can also create other delicious things with the Tribest Greenstar GSE-5050 Elite Slow Masticating Juicer like nut butters, sorbets, sauces, pates, and juices.

However, the pasta making set has to be bought separately, which is a disappointment given the price of this Tribest.

Pineapple juice recipes

Before going into recipes, let’s talk about whether we should peel the skin before juicing pineapple or not.

Personally, I cut the top and bottom and then remove the skin. That’s all that I remove. Absolutely don’t remove the core.

Frankly, a juicer could potentially process pineapple peels.

But I just don’t enjoy knowing that I would have to wash that skin very well if I plan on juicing a pineapple with the skin on.

It’s just much easier and quicker to remove the skin than washing it. Just make sure to use a strong knife with a big, sharp blade.

The easiest recipe is to make juice just from pineapple. You can drink it like that or use it to make some delicious cocktails, like a classic piña colada.

The yield per pound should be about 6 ounces of juice, which is quite high.

Well, melons are the juiciest fruit by far but pineapples aren’t bad either.

But we can juice a variety of ingredients and combine their flavors. You’ll quickly discover your favorites.

A pineapple and peach juice is divine. Or plums and pineapple.

The same goes for pineapple, strawberries, and papaya. Or pineapple, strawberries, and grapes.

Or pineapple, mango, cucumber, and lemon.

Cucumber and pineapple is a very juicy, refreshing combination.

All in all, shopping for the best juicer for pineapple can be pretty easy once you know how much money you’re willing to spend on it and whether you want a centrifugal or a masticating juicer.
